Tattoo Designs
This is my bread and butter, my specialty and primary focus. I am building my portfolio for my future tattoo artist apprenticeship, and it would be my honor to design something for you! I work in a wide variety of styles, and I am always looking to grow and experiment with new ways of doing things -- so if you have an idea and you don't see that particular style in my gallery, reach out and we can chat about how to make it happen.
Drawings & Artwork
Although creating tattoos is my passion, underneath it all is my foundational love for making art in general. I have been drawing since I could hold a pencil, and it has been (and will continue to be!) my life's work to hone my skills. I mostly work in ink, graphite, charcoal, colored pencil, and Adobe Photoshop - but I am always up for a good challenge if you would like me to work in a different medium!

Black & White
For black & white (or grayscale) designs and pieces, I typically use ink or graphite. My shading styles vary, and I am experienced in tonal/blended shading, lineart, dotwork/pointillism, hatching, and crosshatching.
(Example of each of these techniques coming soon!) Traditional Color
When creating traditional color pieces, I use ink for the lineart and typically use colored pencils (standard, watercolor, and metallic) for the color. I use white, beige, and black dry media paper, depending on the colors used and style you would like.
Digital Color
Because my background is in traditional mediums, I enjoy the challenge of taking a non-traditional route with my digital pieces - starting with ink on paper and coloring/refining in Adobe Photoshop using my Wacom Intuos tablet. That being said, I am also skilled in creating born-digital artwork and I choose the appropriate method based on the subject matter, client preferences, and level of detail.
This is the most time-consuming of all my mediums, as each piece typically takes a minimum of 5-10 hours. |
